Hello Glam Dolls,
I received my Sephora order today. One
of the items I purchased was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid
Lipstick in the shade Pure Hollywood. The first thing I do when I get
a new lipstick is swatch it, like I am sure many other people do. I
love the shade, but I felt like I had something similar.
After awhile I realized that this is so
close to the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in the shade midi. I had to
swatch them side by side.
You can see that Pure Hollywood is a
bit more brown, and Midi has more of a pink undertone. But, when you
have them on, you can barely tell the difference.
(I apologize for my skin. I am testing
out a foundation that I will be reviewing soon, and it go splotchy
and cakey on me fast and quick. Not impressed. It also dried my skin
out a bit. I do not have any lip liner on here.)
If you do not want to spend the money
on ABH and want a shade that is similar, go for Midi. If you follow
me on social media, you know that Midi is my go to everyday shade.
