My Signature Nude Lip

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is “What are you wearing on your lips?” I thought that I would make a post taking about it. Hopefully this answers any of the questions that you may have.

I like to wear matte lip colors. I like how well they stay on, and I really do not have to re-apply much throughout the day. If you want to wear a matte lip, you should always make sure your lips are nice and soft. If you have really dry lips and apply a matte product over it, it's not going to look very nice.

I make sure I exfoliate my lips at least four times a week. It's completely up to you and how your lips are. If you find that four times a week is too much, try twice a week. I get really chapped lips, so I have to try and stay on top of things and take really good care of them.

The lip scrub I use is the D.I.Y Lip Scrub I posted awhile back. It's super easy to make and you probably already have the ingredients around your house. It gets the job done and is very affordable, so go ahead and check that out.

After you exfoliate your lips be sure to apply a lip balm just to make sure they do not get irritated.

I really do not think there is anything more sexy than a nude lip. I love nude shades. I have two holey grail products I swear by that work perfectly and look great on just about everyone.

Those two products are the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade SMLc04 London and the NYX Lip Liner in the shade 810 Natural. These are my go to products.

I do use other lip products, but 90% of the time, this is what I have on. Would you be interested in me doing a post about other products I use on my lips?

How To Achieve My Signature Nude Lip

  1. Make sure your lips are nicely exfoliated. If you just exfoliated them make sure you apply a lip balm afterwards.
  2. When you are done the rest of your makeup and are ready to do your lips, gently remove whatever lip balm is left on your lips with a tissue. This is VERY IMPORTANT. Do not try to line your lips with lip balm on. They wont come out the same as mine. This look is very matte and I find that the greasy texture of the balm will mess with the way this will turn out.
  3. Begin to line your lips with your NYX Natural pencil. I always fill in my entire lip. It really helps bring out the color of the lip cream and helps make it stay put throughout the day.
  4. After that we are going to apply our Soft Matte Lip Cream in London all over our lips. The trick here is that I never apply just one coat, I apply three. This is what is going to give you that over the top, sexy pout. In between each coat you are going to let it dry. This makes all the world of different so be sure to let it dry before applying your other coats.

This is not a "no makeup" kind of nude lip. Its dramatic but very sexy!

That is it! Very simple, easy, and affordable.

I hope that you all enjoyed this post and I will talk to you all in my next one xo

Weekly Favorites

I am going to start doing a weekly favorites. Every Monday I will be posting about products and random things that I have been loving throughout the week. I hope you all enjoy seeing what I like and what I use.

If at any time you want a full review on the products I mention, please let me know.

  1. NYX Lip Liner in SPL857 Nude Beige.
  2. Rose water setting spray. I did a D.I.Y for this. It is amazing. It keeps my skin looking so nice. I use it as a toner, to prep my skin before my makeup application, and to set my makeup as well.
  3. Smith's Minted Rose Lip Balm. This is a must for this time of year. It keeps your lips nice and moisturized.
  4. Fruit Scents Banana Split Body Souffle. I found this at my local dollar store. It smells so good. I use it before I put on my body spray after I get out of the shower. The smell lasts a long time.
  5. Fifty Shades Of Grey. I am loving this book. It's hot!! If you haven't read it you should pick it up and give it a go. It's a fun book to read.
  6. Olay Age Defying Instant Hydration Eye Cream. I have a really dry under eye area and this has been helping a lot. I found it on sale for $10.00 at Lawtons.
  7. Orchard & Vine Shimmering Mists in the scents Vanilla Sugar and Midnight Blossom. I found these at the dollar store too. They smell so good and make your skin look so nice and dewy.
  8. Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Normal to Dry skin. I am in the color 150 Buff. This foundation has great coverage and stays on all day. One of my all time favorites for sure.
  9. Wet n Wild Coloricon 738 Comfort Zone Eyeshadow Palette. These shadows are so pigmented. They are the nicest shades too. They work for everyday use or you can really smoke them out for a sexy going out look. I have been loving using this for my everyday smokey eye.

That was all of my favorites for this week. Thank you all so much for reading and I will talk to you all in my next post.

How To Stop Bikini Area Razor Burn

Face it, razor burn and irritation around your bikini area is not cute. Even if you are not being intimate with someone and you shave down there for yourself, it's still not something you want to deal with. It can be very uncomfortable.

I shave my whole bikini area, I leave no hair down there what so ever. It can make it even more difficult when it comes to razor burn and nasty irritation.

I have tried so many different products that claim to help with shaving irritation, but none of them have worked as good as they claimed.

I heard about the brand Bikini Zone, but I had never tried it. I picked up their anti-bumps shave gel and the 2% lidocaine cream.

I fell in love with both of these products. I will never use anything else again. After the first use I noticed immediate results, and I did not experience any irritation from shaving or the products.

How I use these products:

ANTI-BUMPS SHAVE GEL- This gel gives me such a close shave! The formula has moisturizing microbeads and vitamins A and E. I wet my bikini area when I am in the shower and then apply a decent amount all over. I use this with a disposable razor. It makes the area so smooth and the formula is so soothing. It's like nothing else I have ever used before.

2% LIDOCAINE CREAM- Something that is great about this cream is that you don't have to use it just after shaving. You can use it after waxing and depilating as well. So if you are like me and you sometimes wax, this will come in handy for that method of hair removal too.

This cream gives you temporary relief of bumps, itching, and pain. I can with confidence tell you it offers what it says. Its amazing. I have never had something work so well. I apply a small amount of this after shaving and it works right away, and takes care of the problem before it even starts.

Its fast absorbing, so it doesn't get messy. I really like that about it,

I always use both of these products together. They are great to add to your hygiene routine. I'm really glad I decided to try them. I will always keep purchasing. They are budget friendly too!

Thank you all so much for reading. I will talk to you all in my next post! xo

Mini Review: L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Pore Vanisher Texture Perfector

Hello Glam Dolls,
How are you all doing? I hope you are having a great Monday.

If you follow me on instagram, you know that I have recently went to Walmart and purchased some new products. I want to touch base with you on one of the products I bought. I promised I would keep my girlfriends informed!!

First, I want to start off by saying I have never been so pleased with a product in such a short amount of time. The product we will be talking about is the L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Pore Vanisher Texture Perfector.

What is it suppose to do?
This product says that it will instantly make pores look virtually vanished, and reveal an ideal smooth skin.

It is non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, dermatologist tested, and suitable for sensitive skin. It also says that it is shine and oil free, fast absorbing, and can be used under makeup.

I used this last night after I toned my face with the rose water setting spray we made. Then I applied a pea size amount all over my face, avoiding the eye area. The first thing I noticed was my pores looked like they shrunk in size instantly! My face looked so smooth. I was shocked!!

This absorbed really quickly, and did not leave my skin feeling oily at all. When I woke up this morning my skin felt smooth and I did not get irritated by this at all.

I can honestly tell you that I seen a small difference in the size of my pores just after one use.

Something that I wanted to try was using this as a primer. It works amazing! It makes my face look so smooth and even underneath my foundation. This is going to be my go to primer from now on. I can't imagine using anything else after this. I have tried so many face primers and I have never really been completely happy with any of them.

This is going to be one of my HG products from now on. I will be giving this another review in about a week or two to let you all know how it is working and if I keep seeing results.

If you have not tried this, and you have problems with the size of your pores like me, pick this up! You won't regret it. It also made my skin feel super moisturized.

Thank you all so much for reading and I will talk to you all in my next post.
